The Game
You definitely should check it out
Neebs Gaming has done it again with their hilarious and cinematic Ark series! As an avid fan, I always get excited when a new Ark episode pops up in my sub box.
The ragtag group of goofballs that make up the Neebs crew have such infectious chemistry that makes all of their gameplay videos a joy to watch. But it's their cinematic storytelling that really sets them apart.
In Ark, they aren't just playing the game - they're creating an entire world and narrative around their gameplay. Each character has their own unique personality and quirks that shine through.
Thick44 is the cautious leader trying to keep the tribe alive. Appsro is the eccentric tech wizard. Simon is the lovable oaf. Dora is the fiery hunter-gatherer. And poor Anthony is just trying his best to contribute while constantly getting picked on.
Watching their relationships and banter unfold as they struggle to survive against the dangers of the island makes for some Grade A entertainment. And the high production value of the cinematic cutscenes sprinkled throughout each episode takes their stories to the next level.
The current threat of the Alpha tribe recruiting an army of sharks has me on the edge of my seat! Meanwhile, the Neebs tribe is fighting back with their own army of bats. Where could this possibly go next? I have no idea but I can't wait to find out.
Neebs Gaming's Ark series truly is the next best thing to playing the game yourself. It reminds me of watching a TV show where you become invested in the characters and their journey through each episode.
If you haven't checked out their Ark playlist yet, I highly recommend it. Especially if you want to experience this incredible game in a fresh new way. Just be prepared to binge-watch because it's impossible to watch just one episode!
