Man, I just watched the latest Battlefield Friends episode Take The Objective and it was hilarious! The Battlefield Friends series is easily one of the best things on YouTube for any Battlefield fan.
The characters like Recon, Assault, and Support are so funny and perfectly capture the different play styles people take in Battlefield games. Like how Recon is always trying to go for those sweet 360 no-scope headshots instead of playing the objective. And how Assault just loves blowing everything up with C4. Their banter and bickering during matches is comedy gold.
This latest episode where they are fighting over control of the objectives had me cracking up nonstop. Like when Recon kept trying to quickscope everyone on the point instead of actually getting on it to capture it. Or when they all got into an argument because no one wanted to play as the engineer and repair vehicles. The writing and improv comedy these guys come up with is top-notch.
And the animated style looks amazing too. Whoever does the artwork and animations for the series deserves some kind of award. It's so fluid and full of little visual gags in the background. Like the random tornado sweeping up vehicles in the sky or Support's bag of ammo that has a mind of its own.
Really, if you're a Battlefield player this is a must-watch series. It perfectly skewers the things we both love and hate about the games. And the way Neebs Gaming produces the episodes makes it genuinely better than just watching raw Battlefield gameplay. They take the experience to the next level with great writing, voice acting, and animation. I could watch these Battlefield Friends episodes all day. Neebs Gaming is doing God's work giving us this amazing video game comedy series.
