Wow, I just watched the latest Battlefield Friends episode from Neebs Gaming and it was hilarious! This particular episode follows the Squad Leader as he tries to coordinate his dysfunctional squad in a match of BF4.
The Squad Leader is such an iconic character - he's essentially the straight man trying to rein in the chaos around him. His deadpan delivery of ridiculous lines like "I need ammo, not excuses!" has me cracking up every time. And the voice actor nails the world-weary, long-suffering tone. You can tell the Squad Leader wants to win, but he's saddled with the worst squad imaginable!
The other squadmates are a riot too. There's the clueless newbie who can't follow basic instructions, the apathetic slacker who doesn't care about teamwork, and the obsessed sniper who won't get off his perch. Their back-and-forth with the Squad Leader is comedy gold. Like when the Squad Leader tries to motivate them by saying "We can't lose this!" and the sniper replies "Oh yes we can." I was in stitches!
The fast-paced editing and music also add to the humor and energy of the show. The whole thing feels like you're watching a funny multiplayer match play out. And the animation has gotten even crisper lately - the visual gags and Battlefield mayhem look great.
Honestly, Neebs Gaming is producing some of the best gaming entertainment out there. Their Battlefield Friends series captures the camaraderie and chaos of playing with friends in a way that's universally relatable and downright hysterical. I always look forward to their new videos because I know I'll be laughing nonstop.
